Chariot

Oh chariot, your golden waves
Are walking down upon this face
Oh chariot, I'm singing out loud
To guide me
Give me your
Strength
- Gavin DeGraw

So, here are a few pics of details of the chariots used by Maximiliano and Carlota when they came to govern Mexico.

This chariot was used for parties purposes only. Built in Milan, it was brought to Mexico for that special use.

FYI: From 1863 to 1867 the second empire ruled in Mexico. Uncomfortable with the regime, Mexicans pushed him to quit. He left Mexico before he was defeated and the Castillo de Chapultepec Castle (where he lived) became the site for the Mexican Army.
It was not until 1944, that the president Lazaro Cardenas decided not to use this castle as a residence but, as a museum turning it into one of the most turistic and interesting places in Mexico City.

Producing for Qualtia Alimentos

Everything depended on me.
I loved the responsibility and loved, adored the adrenaline.
From the Chef, to the Children, to the Adults...
All on me!
Yei!

It was a different shot, totally different, not very artistic but made the client very happy.
I loved Diana (who is the girl holding the plate) she was very enthusiastic and willing to work.

No Blame, No Shame

On my way back home.
7.10 p.m. Daniela says: "No Dad, I'm fine with your car. I know that my car is having fun at the mountains."
7.12 p.m. Diego says: "So the kid will go to an old man and see what the largest number on Earth would be."
7.15 p.m. Damn!
7.20 p.m. Daniela says: "They are coming in 40 minutes. I'm sure that the traffic may contribute to that."

So, a guy bumped into my car. Well, not my car. The car I was driving. To be more specific; my dad's car. He asked me to trade so he could take my Jeep to the mountains...sure you can. Lucky me.

We all got fine. It was not the biggest accident. Not the first and I'm sure not the last in Ave. Constitución.
Thank God it was Friday!

Me in a D200

Yes, there is a lot of light in some.

These are a few pictures of our way to our studio. Oh how I love our mountains!

I'm learning or trying to do so.

2 Drink Limit

I was advised that there was a 2 drink limit but, I did not take it seriously. I should have.
I should admit that I had lots of fun that night. Only that night. Next day was horrible.
Will I go back to Baby Acapulco? Hell yeah!
Will I drink Purple Margaritas? I don't think so!!

Purple Margaritas like the one in the picture above contain Ever Clear as an ingredient to their "secret formula".
Just so you know, Ever Clear is 95% neutro flavored alcohol.

Please note: There is also a 2 drink limit on the Mexican House Martini. Beware.

Astonishing Pictures

We loved working with the Astonish Designs team. They were funny and very cool about the whole picture thing we were doing.
Tim, Nick and Dave were great posing and not posing. A lot of details in their office made our visit pretty special. These shots are a few examples but I trust that they will look great on their new website to be launched.

Gotta admire Tim and his entrepeneur leadership.

After a two hour job we went to have a couple of purple margaritas and....I cannot remember a thing after that. Blackout.
